The Emergency Care Service Line (EMSL) Physician Assistant practices general emergency medicine, which has a vast scope of practice. Services offered will include the provision of appropriate medical treatment and management of general medical problems of adult patients in an emergency medicine setting(s). Conditions requiring further specialty care will be referred to specialty clinics within the VA system or to Community Care resources.
